This refurbished, sixteenth-century property is ideal for large families, sleeping up to fourteen people, in seven bedrooms, and often being used for special occasions such as birthdays. Hardcragg Hall has gas central heating, oak-panelled furniture and a wood burning stove, while service users can also enjoy a conservatory and en-suite bedrooms, with one king-sized bed. There is an outdoor view of Morecambe Bay and landscaped gardens with a pond.

For over 400 years, Hardcragg Hall has attracted guests, included so familiar faces. The well-known Beatrix Potter was a regular visitor to the Hall and it has also been mentioned that Oliver Cromwell visited the Hall between military excursions.  Guests will enjoy the peace and quiet that the house has to offer as soon as they cross the threshold. This Grade II Country House Manor has oak-paneled rooms, windows and a log fires that dates back to 1563

The area has many nature reserves, making it a bird-watching hotspot! There are also two gold-courses, award-winning cafes, butchers, bakeries and restaurants all within walking distance.

Leave the M6 Motorway at Junction 36 and take the A590 towards Barrow in Furness (don't miss the turning to Barrow after 3 miles). After about 8 miles you will come to a roundabout, take the first exit and follow the signs for Grange over Sands. Pass the railway station on your left hand side, at the first mini roundabout by the Toyota garage, turn left. At the second mini roundabout, next to the clock tower, turn right. Go over the crest of the hill to the crossroads by the HSBC bank. Proceed over the crossroads passing the library and Hardcragg Way on your right. Hardcragg Hall is just beyond on your right with double grey gated entrance. There is secure parking and access is obtained by request using the intercom unit attached to the right-hand gatepost.
