A high spec, fabulously restored unique 19th Century listed barn set on a farm deep in the Kent countryside for up to 12 to 14 guests. A perfect place for family get-togethers, two or three families holidaying together, groups of friends & special events! It has 4 Rosettes with a Gold Award from VisitEngland.

What makes a stay at Green Farm unique?

For lovers of the outdoors, guests have direct access to Green Farm and its 50 acres, and the surrounding 12,500 acres, of meadows, wooded pasture and ancient woodland, almost all within a Local Wildlife Site because of its rich diversity of habitats, flora and fauna including deer in the woods, nightingales in spring, bats and owls in the evenings. You are also welcome to help with the farm animals, depending on the season and the farming activity. Looking for perfect relaxation? There is a fabulous boutique ESPA Spa with sauna and hot-tub and a stunning yoga studio on site. Just relax by the log-fire or retire to your en-suite bedroom with super-king bed - all beds are the same!

What is the capacity for Green Farm?

Green Farm Barn can host 12 to 14 people, well behaved dogs are also allowed. There are plenty of great walks for the dogs. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and the 6ft super-king beds can be arranged to suite your party.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Shadoxhurst area?

This is a great, central base to explore this part of Kent with plenty for everyone within a short drive: Local Vineyards & Breweries, Castles, Gardens, Cathedral, Market Towns, Beaches abound! Tenterden is just 10 minutes away and Rye is only 20; the Designer Outlet Centre in Ashford provides great shopping.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

There is a fabulous local pub just 5 minutes walk from the barn, with great food. There are also many other lovely pubs and restaurants in the local villages as well as both Tenterden and Ashford each being just 10 minutes away. Two of the best local pubs can be reached by great walks across open countryside or through ancient woodland. A private chef can also be asked to come and cook for you

Green Farm is is set deep in the heart of the Kent Weald but is only 10 minutes from Ashford International station with its high speed javelin trains to London (St Pancras in 37 minutes) and Eurostar trains to Paris and Brussels. It is also just 10 minutes from both J9 and J10 of the M20. A Green Lane leads into 12,500 acres of woodland, most of it ancient, much of it within designated Local Wildlife Sites and some of it designated as SSSI. Rolling farmland spreads down to Romney Marsh and the sea.
