Filey, just 10 minutes away by car, is a traditional seaside town, with all the usual elements that make the British seaside so well-loved. The broad, sandy beach is stunning, and there are donkey rides, beach chalets and a wonderful promenade. When the sun is shining, nothing could be finer than eating fish and chips on the harbour wall at Coble Landing.
