Delightfully located in one of the most beautiful villages in Somerset, Cossington, near Bridgwater and Glastonbury, is a quiet retreat, surrounded by 22 acres of beautiful grounds. Cossington Park is an outstanding destination, a luxurious holiday let in a historic house and, most importantly, a distinctive home and venue that provides opportunities for small and large groups or families of all ages to come together for weekend breaks, holidays and special occasions in a stunning large holiday home.

What is the capacity for Cossington Park House?

Spacious accommodation for 12-16 in Park House, 6 in Park Cottage and up to 22 with exclusive use of the estate. Ground floor: library dining room (seats 30), large drawing room, sitting room/morning room, breakfast room (seats 4–6), kitchen (can seat up to 10 or more), scullery, laundry and WC. First floor: 6 bedrooms – Chaucer – double room (super king bed), en suite bathroom. The Nursery – double room (queen size zip-link bed – makes 2 x 3’ singles) plus en suite shower room. Jolly Monks/Great Tom – two large twin beds plus large bathroom with Victorian roll-top bath and separate shower. The Trusty Servant – double room. The Cobbler – double room. The Pump Room – small room with queen size 4-poster. House bathroom.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Bridgwater area?

There are hundreds of places to visit nearby, some of these might include; Extreme driving for fun or team building – try a race-tuned 4×4 or a two-seater dune buggy. Clay pigeon shooting at the Mendip Firing Range. Fly fishing or angling. Golf. Walking, cycling or horse riding. Caving, climbing or abseiling in the Mendips, famous for some of the deepest caves in Europe. Gliding or hot air balloon flights for up to 12 people (up to 8 can take off from Cossington Park). Carriage Rides through the beautiful Somerset Levels countryside for two or ten people. A host of local days out at the West Country’s most loved attractions: Kilve Court Gardens, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Glastonbury Tor, Milton Lodge Gardens, Wells Cathedral, Wookey Hole all-weather attraction. Victorian seaside resorts of Burnham-on-Sea or Weston-super-Mare with its Grand Pier and long sandy beach. More than 40 gardens and stately homes within a day’s excursion from Cossington. Fossil hunting on Kilve Beach, followed by delicious Somerset cream teas at the lovely Chantry Tea Rooms.
