From Stirling & the East: Leave M9 motorway at Junction 10. Turn onto the A84 towards Doune & Callander. After approx 6 m turn left into the B8057 to Gargunnock. At the T-Junction turn right onto the A811signposted the Erskine Br. Continue to Arnprior, turn right onto the B8034 towards Port of Menteith. 2 m on cross the hump backed bridge &continue 3/4 m until you reach Dykehead. Yew Tree Cottage is the 1st house on the left For all other cottages turn left (just before Yew Tree) Arnvicar is the 1st building on the left then Ash & Hawthorn are the 2nd. Gartur is at the end of the single track road. PLEASE DO NOT USE SATNAV: IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE WRONG PLACE ! From Glasgow: Follow signs for the A82 posted Dumbarton, Balloch & Loch Lomond untill the end of the dual carriageway. Turn right onto the A811 untill you pass through Buchlyvie. Take the next left onto the B8034 towards Port of Menteith. For directions to the cottages - please see above
