Sale pending - grab your chance to stay at this lovely cottage before Christmas before it is too late! A previous guest liked it so much, they made an offer to buy it!

What makes a stay at Burghead Cottage unique?

The location! Burghead is on a peninsular, so the sea is very close in 3 directions, from the working harbour and sandy Roseisle beach to the rocky west side.

What is the capacity for Burghead Cottage?

Burghead can host up to 5 people, with a king-sized double bed, 2 singles and a camp bed or travel cot if required.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Elgin area?

The Elgin area is on the Speyside malt whisky trail, with numerous distilleries, but it is also a microcosm of Scotland, as it ranges from the Cairngorms National Park to the sea, with numerous castles and golf courses in between.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

The friendly Harbour Inn is within stumbling distance and the Bothy has a well-deserved reputation for delicious light meals and homebakes.

Reviews

a well located cottage to a picturesque location. Surrounding sea's including harbour, sandy beaches. Historic sites on doorstep as well as easy travelling ones. Superstores within easy travel for supplies, although local shops too. The cottage itself is larger than appears in the photo's on web sites. Has plenty of room for families or pets, or opportunities to be homely and cosy. Has all the equipment required to make your holiday stress free. The booking procedure had a personal touch. Also on arrival the welcome pack is one of the best we have ever had. Will be back

Everything about this cottage was perfect. Plenty of space both inside and outside. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. Shower was high powered. Village had wee shops and a couple of pubs to eat and drink- pubs let dogs and children in. Would definitely book again if in area.

This is a lovely cosy cottage. Very comfortable, great space indoors. Welcome was a bonus. Only down side really was the 5th bed (camp bed) and the small garden. Beaches were close only a stone throw away. Had great weather which was lovely.

Great location for village facilities and beach or forest walks as well as the many tourist attractions. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped for an enjoyable home from home holiday. I would definitely return. Thank you.
