Broadgate Farm Cottages

Beautiful cottages in a beautiful location We arrived at Broadgate Farm later than planned due to bad traffic, however on arrival we found the 'The Stables' straight away and were able to access the property without any delay or problems. When entering the cottage we were more than impressed, it was so inviting and cosy. Just what we wanted after an 9 hour car journey! When settling in everything we requested before arrival was there. This was fantastic, as on so many occasions in other types of accommodation requests are not always carried out. We have a 1.5 year old daughter, therefore we requested the majority if not all the children's equipment; highchair, stairgate, and travel cot, which were all of exceptional quality and spotlessly clean. Everything was to a very high standard, the bathrooms were just dreamy and the beds were more than comfortable. The owners of Broadgate Farm have a real eye for detail. What I liked especially was that near every appliance or piece of equipment, there were polite notices telling you how to use them and where to find things. It may seem a small detail to some but when you need to get CBeebies on quickly it's priceless!! Cupboards were well stocked and again children's plates, bowls, cups were all provided, even a variety of children s books which my daughter loved. In the morning we opened the living room curtains to views looking straight out onto the farm - just gorgeous. We were lucky with the time of year we saw the lambs out in the field. Again, the owners have taken great care in the maintenance of the outside areas with manicured lawns, and stunning seating area with chiminea. Elaine the Owner came and met us on the evening we arrived to introduce herself and made sure we had everything we needed. Very welcoming. The location is great if you have had a long journey and your coming off from the motorway, as your not far from the M18 and literally 5/10 mins drive into the centre of Beverley. There are gorgeous pubs in Walkington village. You can walk it, but it was just a bit too far for us with a little one. However, that didnt have any negative impact at all on our stay. We would certainly recommend Broadgate Farm Cottages to anyone, it deserves the 5 stars it has received. The property's are to an exceptionally high standard and both my partner and I have said how much we miss it! We would certainly return. Thank you Elaine and Team for a lovely and relaxing stay.

60th family celebration 13 of us ranging in age from 8 months to 78 years stayed in high Barn to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. The house was fantastically equipped (we self catered the entire time) and extremely comfortable. Huge beds, warm, lots of areas to sit, sociable kitchen dining areas - just perfect. Elaine was very welcoming and the area is lovely. Our granddaughter loved seeing the lambs and chickens and collecting 'treasures' (bits of wool!). A 40 minute walk takes you into Beverley which is a great little town, and the coast is half an hour away. A really perfect holiday retreat which we hope to return to in the not too distant future.

We were a party of 15 Senior Golfers who were visiting East Yorkshire for the first time. I was recommended to Elaine (Broadgate Farm) by a family friend and hoped we would not be disappointed having read other reviews and the website. We were all stunned by the quality and the extremely high standard of the accommodation. Everyone commented on how even the smaller details had been carefully planned by Elaine and her team. We absolutely loved the place and will certainly be planning another trip next year!!!

Amazing Cottage We stayed as part of a large group for mum and dad's 60th wedding anniversary. There was plenty of room for all of our large group ranging from 4 years old to 80. Lovely peaceful setting and cottage was very well equipped with everything you might need away from home. Perfect end to the break when Elaine let all the ewes and new lambs graze in the field next to the cottage so the children could see them before we left. It was much appreciated, would recommend to all. Thanks.

Excellent Stay Broadgate farm is a collection of outstanding holiday cottages . The attention to detail is outstanding. The furnishings are beautiful ..all top of the range. The cottages are immaculately clean . The grounds too are immaculate ......overlooking pasture land . The gardens are beautiful and each cottage has its own walled garden area. The owners were so friendly and welcoming . We spent time in hull, Beverley, Bridlington and Barton. We would love to return.

Gets better every visit This is our 5th stay at Broadgate farm cottages (at least). They are the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, rooms are spotless and they think of everything. Elaine is very friendly and visits on arrival to check everything is okay. There are various cottages to suit whatever size party you are traveling with. We love staying here whenever we visit parents close by, it's like a mini holiday for us. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. (review from TA)

Worth Every Penny The cottages are excellent and well worth the price. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and was an ideal property for a family get together. We stayed in the Cart House, which has two lounges. The bigger lounge was ideal for the ten of us to spread out, yet be together. Each of the four bedrooms was on suite. The property is well situated for exploring the area. A mile walk from the nearest village and two miles from Beverley. (review from TA)

we had 8 of us staying here from Thursday - Sunday. The cottage was immaculate, bedrooms and showers were very good. The surrounds were very peaceful and set in a lovely location and close to Beverly town centre. Elaine was fantastic and a great host. Would defiantly recommend any of the cottages within broad gate farm, as the service received couldn't be better.
