Guests will receive a warm welcome and there is plenty of information regarding the local are in the properties together with sample menus from many of the good places to eat in the area. If requested we are happy to help guests get the most out of their visit with advise on the local area. A welcome basket is provided containing local bread, jam, eggs and cake as well as butter and milk.
What is the capacity for Bourton Manor?
The Old Nursery sleeps 4 in a king size double and a twin bedded room together with an en-suite and family bathroom. The Gun Room has a King size four poster bed and is designed as an escape for two. However the two properties can be opened up for friends and family if requested.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Much Wenlock area?
There is so much to see and do close by, most less than a 30 minute drive. Much Wenlock has a wide variety of local shops and galleries, great places to eat and wonderful monastic ruins. There are several National Trust properties and English Heritage attractions within easy reach. The aircraft museum at RAF Cosford is a great day out. Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton all offer the visitor a wide variety of things to see and do from art galleries, antiques shops, great restaurants. Shropshire is also a fabulous place to walk and enjoy the countryside.

Welcome basket on arrival. There are plenty of places to enjoy all sorts of excellent food within the area. Much Wenlock has a choice of good pubs and restaurants. Further afield in and around Ludlow and Shrewsbury there is a range of high street and independent restaurants to choose from.
