Ground Floor: Open Plan Kitchen/Dining Area with electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, separate freezer, microwave, attractive dresser, table and chairs.

The sitting room is dual aspect and has a three seater and two seater leather sofas, electric fire, TV/DVD and CD/radio.

First Floor: Bedroom 1 with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers with mirror, fitted wardrobes and views over the fields and nearby ponds.

Bedroom 2 with a single bed, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobes and similar views.

Shower Room with power shower, washbasin and w.c.

Garden: Garden furniture provided in the very pretty private garden area.
Parking: Ample off road parking is available next to the cottage.
Heating: Electric storage heating downstairs and panel heaters in the upper rooms.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Biddenden area?

The village of Biddenden is renowned for its cobbled pavements, charming historic buildings and award-winning vineyard. It has a sports centre, horse riding, golf courses and other recreational activities. Situated around four miles north is the village of Headcorn, which offers the main railway line to London, a small grocery store, local shops, pubs and restaurants. The charming and lively town of Tenterden is just four miles south and boasts antique shops, tea rooms, a fitness center, a swimming pool and the Kent & East Sussex steam railway. Various museums, wildlife centres and the south coast, including Rye Fishing Harbour, are all within easy reach of Barclay Farmhouse. Local Vineyards and country walks can also be found nearby. This is an ideal location for visting gardens (Sissinghurst, Pashley Manor, Emmetts, Yalding, Groombridge, and many more).   • From the M25 (clockwise), exit J3 down to the under-roundabout and take the first exit onto the A20 (Maidstone), continue onto M20 for 21.5 miles to J8 (signed Leeds Castle)
  • From the M25 (anti-clockwise) continue straight ahead onto M26 (outer two lanes) near Sevenoaks then continue ahead for 10.1 miles onto M20 and a further 11.4 miles to J8 (signed Leeds Castle) 21.5
  • Leave roundabout on 3rd exit, then after 200yds take 1st exit
  • Continue 500yds and straight ahead at next roundabout
  • After 200yds turn right at roundabout onto B2163 Penfold Hill at Leeds Castle. Continue for 2.7 miles 25.2
  • At junction, turn left onto the A274 Maidstone Road. Continue for 6 miles (through Headcorn and on towards Biddenden) 31.2
  • At Biddenden, continue ahead on A262 Tenterden Road and proceed for 0.7 miles 31.9
  • Bear right signed Vineyard and Benenden
  • Barclay Farmhouse IMMEDIATELY on right
