Arrived on the 1st August with my husband and two children for a 4 night stay. My only complaint is that 4 nights just wasn't enough!!! We went on a forest holidays holiday last year, however this surpassed previous experience. Just cannot fault it. On first glance the beauty of the Scottish countryside totally mesmerises you, Loch Long and the forest around it is just enchanting and anything else is just a bonus. The cabin was fab, we stayed in a sliver birch, and again couldn't fault it. There was the odd bit of dust and some basic mainte...

A lovely little 'forest retreat'. Lodges are very clean and functional with plenty of space. The hot tubs are great, we used them all the time what ever the weather. The staff are very helpful although the service can be a little slow, but being on holiday it's not a bad thing. Although the menu is very limited the food was lovely. The shop is quite expensive but has a good range of food etc. The room service is a definite winner. Supermarkets are miles away - so either be prepared and bring you food with you or travel.

We also hired bikes went paddle boarding the ranger walk etc ... its quiet secluded right on Loch Long ... mountains all around ... the beds are super comfy the lodges are spacious and we all loved it. Oh and the hot tubs let's not forget mmm fab
