Overview

The luxurious five-star self-catering cottages at The Headland are placed upon a private cliff-top just yards from the UK's most famous beach. The dog-friendly cottages are the perfect beachside home, creating a relaxed coastal lifestyle that you won't want to leave behind.

What makes a stay at The Headland Cottages unique?

Wake up next to the beach in a Headland Cottage and discover for yourself the decedent uniqueness of the clifftop location. Enjoy your home from home in your own time and then benefit from being a Headland guest, enjoying unlimited use of the five-bubble rated spa and leisure facilities. The self-catering cottages receive a light daily clean and will be equipped with all the essentials. The Headland can even help with your food shopping, arranging for seasonal and fresh farm produce to be delivered directly to your door.

What is the capacity for The Headland Cottages?

The Headland cottages range from one to three bedrooms. Depending on how many cottages are available, there is no set capacity as groups can be accommodated over several dwellings.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Newquay area?

Newquay offers an array of things to enjoy all year round, from catching a few waves with friends to exploring miles of the south-west coastal path as well as taking in some of the many attractions nearby. The perfect wave is closer than you think, with Newquay's very own famous Fistral Beach which has some of the best surf sports (breaks) around. Can't surf? The Headland is here to help with its closely linked surf school, Surf Sanctuary. Traverse the coast of Newquay and discover new treasures throughout the 15 listed beaches all made accessible by foot. Or why not visit Cornwall's very own man-made Eden Project compiling of two climate changing domes fit for any explorer.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

Uncover a fresh take on seaside dining. The culinary team is driven by a passion for cuisine that is as wholesome as it is flavourful. Led by Executive Chef Christopher Archambault and inspired by the dramatic Cornish coastline, discover exciting dishes with undeniable plate-appeal. There are three dining experiences: the award-winning Samphire, the contemporary Terrace and the new Meditteranean restaurant, The Deck. All are equally as good. Whether you are looking for sophistication and style or coastal cool, The Headland caters for everything from a relaxed breakfast or laid-back lunch to indulgent dinner, all under one roof. Wine, dine and relax amidst the epic seascapes and breath-taking sunsets.

A classic hotel, in a beautiful setting. Second visit in four months. Stayed in the village cottages and ate in the Samphire restaurant, which felt like the best of both worlds. All round a good experince. A classic & impressive hotel, in a glorious setting.
