Ferryhill

The town of Ferryhill is located in south-central County Durham and was originally an agricultural village followed by a mining town in the 20th century. Situated between the old Great North Road and the main North-South railway line. There is a mile long hill on which stands the Town Hall, Market Place, shops, hotels and inns.
