The head chef Joe McCarthy prides himself on buying local produce with which he creates wonderful dishes to entice your taste buds. Joe works in tandem with the seasons to offer an ever-changing menu that uses produce in its prime. You will always find some classic favourites on the menu (this is a must for the locals).
What makes a meal at The Wychwood Inn unique?
The Wychwood Inn chose to join the AA three years ago and has been presented with the AA Dinner Award every year.
All of their ingredients (where possible) come from first rate UK suppliers and local suppliers as far as possible. Their meat comes from Aubrey Allen, a family business established in 1993, the fish is supplied by Rogers of Chipping Norton and their vegetables are delivered by Wellocks. Joe, the Head Chef chooses and evaluates new dishes every season, and they are scrupulously tested by the staff and owners (it's a tough job!).
