Overview

The Seaview Hotel, Restaurant and Bar is a classic yet contemporary, stylish Victorian retreat located in the fishing village of Seaview on the Isle of Wight. The Restaurant which holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, offers a fantastic menu of British dishes all served in a contemporary setting. The terrace enjoys stunning views of the Solent. The food has a real wow factor and the menu is designed to reflect the seasons dependent on the relative abundance of local produce or season.

Where is The Seaview Hotel & Restaurant located?

Set in a scenic sailing village of Seaview, the Victorian town of Ryde is located on the north-east Isle of Wight. Seaview has a nostalgic feel as if not much has changed since the Fifties. There are many scenic walks along the coast and the Island is popular for its good cycling routes. The hotel is situated 2 minutes from Seagrove and from Priory Bay. There is so much old-fashioned fun to have including; crabbing, rock-pooling, and beachcombing. 

What cuisine is on offer at The Seaview Hotel & Restaurant?

The Seaview Hotel works with a variety of the island's best suppliers and try to keep the food supply as 'locally' as possible. The theme of their menus is classic British with their own Isle of Wight twist. Head Chef Bruce Theobald, who works together with a large number of local suppliers who craft dishes such as Green Barn Farm goats cheese souffle with watercress veloute that is simply a taste of the Wight.
