Overview

Completely refurbished in summer 2013 by new owners Chris and Lucy Siagos of Truro Arts Company and the Arts Café, this top quality neighbourhood all day dining restaurant now boasts a stylish bar for a pre-dinner drink, cosy booths, painted tongue and groove and a wood burning stove. Chef Nik Tinney sources ingredients from local farmers markets for his truly seasonal, regularly changing Cornish menus. Start with Fowey mussels with saffron and leek cream sauce followed by Cornish duck breast with potato cake, cardamom glazed carrots and orange sauce, a modern take on a French classic. Tempting desserts include an inventive combination of Apricot compote with hawthorn sponge and elderflower ice cream.
