Overview

The Swan was a coaching inn from the 17th century, it had sawdust on the floor & a bakery. The fare was simple for farmworkers who dropped by after a hard day in the fields.  The rural history of the building and its place on the community is key to the village pub, with ties to the Thyme farm on the Southrop Manor Estate. Now complete with cosy sofas, the Old Bar for simple merry-making, The Snug for more intimate dining, the Garden Room and the Restaurant.
