Reviews

We lunched at this restaurant on 25th August and elected to have their celebration menu. This turned out to be an excellent choice as it was a set menu where each of the courses was superbly cooked and presented. Apart from the quality of the food here what distinguished this venue from many others is the old style professional yet friendly service. In my opinion it could not be bettered. Apart from this set meal the restaurant offers a smallish menu where the food is all fresh and cooked to order and a small but well selected wine menu. Do try this restaurant but make sure that you book in advance.

A really lovely place to visit. Fantastic rooms, good amenities and a lovely meal in the Restaurant. Service is always excellent and the facilities are very good. Always assured of a warm welcome. Highly recommend an overnight stay or just visit for a lovely dinner.

A wonderful experience. We visited for Sunday lunch with a relative on a mobility scooter and found the care and attention that the staff provided was second to none. Superb service from polite and very attentive staff. Food was first rate. Thoroughly recommended.

Once again we visit Hartwell House for Sunday lunch as always a welcome from staff at the front door. Drinks on the terrace followed by a lovely lunch and coffee in the lounge. Good parking and a lovely outlook.
