HIX Soho

Adorned with original artworks by celebrated artists such as Damien Hirst and Michael Craig Martin, Hix is a stylish restaurant in the heart of London's soho. Prior to dinner you could lounge in a leather chesterfield in the basement Mark's apothecary cocktail bar, a real London hot spot. They take no reservations so we would recommend an early arrival to avoid the queue. Hix has always cared deeply about the provenance of his ingredients and goes a step further than simply sourcing British produce by using a variety of wild elements in his menu foraged from the hedgerow. The result could be Kentish air-dried lamb with pickled vegetables and chickweed to start or a sea buckthorn berry posset for dessert. Sandwiched in between these courses you may find pan-fried fillets of mackerel with a Heritage tomato and fennel salad. Round off your meal with some cider brandy and Venezuelan black truffles.
