Among the latest additions to Ludlow's bludgeoning foodie scene is fashionable Fishmore Hall. A smart and sensitive restoration to its former Georgian glory includes a styled restaurant with minimalist interiors that let the period features and spectacular Shropshire views take centre stage.
Where is Fishmore Hall located?
The restaurant is at the heart of Fishmore House, a small boutique hotel with a view of the beautiful city of Ludlow, Shropshire, a country house with unrivalled views over the magnificent countryside of Shropshire.
What cuisine is on offer at Fishmore Hall?
Where possible, the head chef uses ingredients sourced from local producers in the Shropshire Marches to create his own interpretations of classic texture and flavour combinations. Chose from the Taste of the Marshes menu with selected wines or go it alone with a la carte dishes such as seared scallops, black pudding, Jerusalem artichoke and lemon and Mortimer Forest saddle of venison, salsify, beetroot puree and damson jus.
