Overview
This no-expense spared restaurant within a Grade II listed building boasts fine views of lake and vale. The dining room features cream leather dining chairs, modern art and all the napery and fine glassware trimming expected of such a high-class venue. The modern refined cooking with classic twists has, at its heart, high-quality British produce. Begin with Scottish scallop, organic pork belly, cauliflower, Pedro Ximénez jelly Mackerel tartar, pickled cucumber, Aquitaine caviar, piquillo pepper Citrus cured salmon. Saddle and pitivier of hare, chocolate, pumpkin, amaretto, rosemary Roast halibut, chanterelles, chervil root, crosnes, orange Coconut poached brill, korma couscous, fresh coconut, spinach pastilla, steamed mussels may follow. Unusual desserts might include “Toffee Crisp” Colette's style Organic lemon and white chocolate delice, saffron and sweet corn ice cream Dark chocolate fondant,fig jelly, cinnamon ice cream.
Colette's will be closing for the summer, from Saturday 7 July – Friday 14 September 2018. Our team of chefs will be moving to our new Potting Shed pop up restaurant in the Walled Garden.
