The multi-award winning Assheton Arms is located in the unspoilt conservation village of Downham near Clitheroe in Lancashire. Recent award wins include being named the Lancashire Life Dining Pub of the Year and being listed in the Good Food Guide and County Dining Pub of the Year in the Good Pub Guide. The Grade II listed building can cater for up to 130 covers and is the flagship Seafood Pub Company venue. It is perfect for family meals out or for anyone who has been exploring the Lancashire countryside. Chefs at the Assheton Arms use the finest ingredients, including fish sourced from the Fleetwood coast, meat from local suppliers and vegetables from Lady Clitheroe's garden at Downham Hall. An extensive specials board is updated daily and highlights of the menu include a Goan king prawn curry and Toro pie with slow cooked beef and chorizo.
