Assheton Arms is particularly passionate about seafood; the founder, Joycelyn, was brought up with her father as a renowned fish merchantand.  With this in mind, naturally, the food style leans towards light and fresh seafood dishes. That said, the informality of pub food is also loved here, so British classics and delicious dishes are firmly on the menu.
