The multi-award winning Assheton Arms is located in the unspoilt conservation village of Downham near Clitheroe in Lancashire. Chefs at the Assheton Arms use the finest ingredients, including fish sourced from the Fleetwood coast, meat from local suppliers and vegetables from Lady Clitheroe's garden at Downham Hall. An extensive specials board is updated daily and highlights of the menu include a Goan king prawn curry and Toro pie with slow cooked beef and chorizo.
