Dornoch town is famous for both its beautiful 13th century cathedral and also the fact that it became the first Higland Fair Trade Town in 2005. Prodcuts can now be bought in shops, churches, schools etc. The Royal Dornoch Golf Course draws golf enthusiasts from far and wide. This sport can be traced back to around 1619 when the Earl of Sutherland purchased the appropriate equipment.
