The picturesque village of Branscombe lies on the East Devon coast and has a number of historic buildings including an old bakery and a working forge. There are plenty of places to walk in the surrounding countryside and the coastal path to Sidmouth in the west or Beer to the east. There is a large beach mainly of pebbles and painted beach huts.
