The small village of Parracombe is in North Devon not far from Lynton and on the edge of Exmoor. It has an ancient church of St Petrock which is used only occasionally. Nearby on Parracombe Common are a number of barrows dating back to the bronze age. Other places of interest not far away are the Exmoor Zoo Park, Wistlandpound Reservoir which has boating and fishing.
