The small fishing village of Mousehole is one of Cornwalls most picturesque villages. Many of the houses are built from the local Lamorna granite. There is a small but safe beach which is ideal for families. The streets are narrow and contain a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants. Just of the coast near the harbour is St Clement's Isle which was said to have been the home of a ancient hermit.
