Tideswell in the Derbyshire Peak District was first granted a charter for a market in 1251. It has a magnificent church built in the 14th century and known as the Cathedral of the Peak. Tideswell is well known for its annual well dressing which starts in June. It is also a great place for walking and cycling around the Peak District.
