The market town of Dursley is in Gloucestershire not far from the River Severn. Behind the town lies the scenic Stinchcombe Hill, which around its edge forms part of the Cotswold Way popular with walkers. It also has an 18 hole golf course. In the centre of the town is the pillared market house which was built in 1738 and is today used as the town hall and also the location of farmers markets.
