The countdown to Christmas is well under way and the excitement is building. Christmas lights are festooned across the streets and trees are decked out with tinsel and baubles. Christmas is a magical time for children and you can make this Christmas that extra bit special by visiting some of the festive attractions that are all over the UK. If you visit these attractions you will give your children an experience they will always remember!
Longleat

Longleat Safari Santa Train. The magical Santa Express is just one part of Longleat's Christmas Spectacular which promises a day packed with entertainment for the family. Take the Santa Train and you will go on an unforgettable journey deep into the woods to meet Father Christmas himself in his snowy log cabin home where every child receives a special present. Other Christmas attractions at the park include ice skating on a huge outdoor ice rink with Longleat House as a backdrop. This Elizabethan stately home has been transformed into an enchanted world where popular panto tales including Jack and the Beanstalk, Peter Pan, Aladdin, Snow White and many more come magically to life. And you certainly won't miss the giant Singing Christmas Tree, which has close to one million individual lights and forms the centrepiece of Christmas celebrations in the Stable Yard. Longleat Christmas Spectacular is on till 7 January.
