This was our fourth visit to Trigony House Hotel. We were visiting with another couple and had asked if a particular dish could be available on the menu. This was done and we had a really pleasant evening meal and overnight stay. This is a lovely, friendly hotel with a welcoming atmosphere and a real desire to offer good customer service. I have no doubt we will be back. Drumlanrig Castle gardens are well worth a visit. We would highly recommend a visit to Dumfries House - the guided tour of the house was excellent.

The spa was just perfect for us. The outdoor wood fire stoked spa was in a most beautiful setting overlooking countryside. The sauna was incredibly equipped with a fantastic array of essential oils to choose from to put into the water for the coals. The outlook from inside the sauna was again just beautiful overlooking the fields and hills. The treatment room was so luxurious. I can't recommend it enough. I would be able to relax in the lovely public rooms, spa and garden without even visiting anywhere.

ALISONA

The location of Trigony House is excellent for those travelling the length of the country like us. The biggest selling point of this hotel is the staff. Super friendly and couldn't be more accommodating to us and our dogs. Lovely relaxed feeling to the whole hotel and the food was great. I didn't really see much apart from the hotel but I wish I had tried the garden spa! add your response

We brought our dog with us and were delighted with just how accommodating the hotel was, especially for dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic, and we will certainly come back. Drumlanrig castle is worth a visit and very close to the hotel. We also really enjoyed visiting Rockcliffe on the Solway Firth.
