Wonderful setting, wonderful view, excellent food and very attentive staff. The room (no 2) was adequate as was the bathroom but the bed was at best average. Would we stay again? yes definitely. Very quiet and very relaxing.

At Exeter, take A30, signposted to Launceston Exit the A30 at the sign for Bodmin Follow this road until you see Nissan Car Showroom - Turn left, following signs for Bodmin and Liskeard A38 Continue on this road until T junction. Turn Left following sign for A38 Liskeard At roundabout take first exit, signed Plymouth, Liskeard A38 At mini roundabout Turn Right signed Lostwithiel ( B3268 ) Follow this road until next mini roundabout, take first exit on left Continue on this road, the B3269 until you reach T junction At T junction turn right. Take next left signed Fowey (B3269) Follow this road for approx 3 miles until you see left turn signed for Golant. Take left turn & follow this road down into Golant, all the way to the harbour and stay on this road as it takes a right hand bend. Keeping the river on your left, continue on same road, ignore the 'no through road' sign because we are at the end of the road. After a very short way you will see the Hotel sign, and our steep drive up to our car park. Alternatively At Exeter take A38 , to Plymouth then Liskeard... continue follow A38 beyond Liskeard until you reach Dobwalls At roundabout take 2nd exit A390, signed St Austell follow A390 until left turn B3269, signed Fowey ( do not go all the way to Fowey ) Follow this road for approx 3 miles until you see left turn signed Golant. Take left turn & follow this road down into Golant, all the way to the harbour and stay on this road as it takes a right hand bend. Keeping the river on your left, continue on same road, ignore the 'no through road' sign because we are at the end of the road. After a very short way you will see the Hotel sign, and our steep drive up to our car park.
