The Barns Hotel
The Barns Hotel is situated in a beautiful riverside location, within three and a half acres of landscaped gardens and a 13th Century tithe barn. With remarkable grounds in which to stroll and relax, The Barns has wonderful views over the great River Ouse and the country park and is located just 10 miles from the M1 and 8 miles from the A1.
Its fascinating history reveals that Samuel Whitbread, founder of the brewing business, was born in the main house in 1720 and it remained within the Whitbread family until 1890s.
Today, The Barns offers a wonderful haven to stay including delightful riverside dining for guests from far and wide. Above all, we have a passion for uncompromised service, standards and style, and we pride ourselves on our personal attention to detail and making our guests feel most welcome indeed.
