Strand House is a historic Tudor house set in farmland on the edge of the preserved town of Winchelsea. It has a wide selection of bedrooms in both modern and Tudor styles, a lounge, bar and dining room. Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

This area boasts a wide range of country pubs from the Queens Head in Icklesham, the Plough at Cock Marling and the William the Conqueror at Rye Harbour. If guests don't feel like driving then a short walk brings them to the New Inn at Winchelsea. Rye is full of restaurants with favourites being Webbs Fish Cafe and Tuscan Rye. OUtside Rye, there is the Wild Mushroom at Westfield and the Curlew at Bodiam which are high-end restaurants.

Strand House has its own car park on site and offers parking to all guests. The house is around 3/4 mile from the beach at Winchelsea. Strand House is able to offer dining for pre-booked groups or house parties which are often used by family groups to celebrate significant birthdays or events. The house is also a licensed wedding venue offering exclusive use of the house for one's wedding day.

From the M25 take the M20 down as far as Ashford Junction 10. Then Turn off onto A2070 heading South and drive across two roundabouts. There is then a slip road signposted A2070 Brenzett and Lydd Airport. Take this and go straight across the roundabout at the bottom staying on the A2070. Follow the road to Brenzett and go straight across the roundabout following the A259 for Rye. Go around Rye on the A259 heading for Hastings and Strand House Guest House is two miles beyond Rye, just before you get to Winchelsea. Alternatively, from the M25 take the A21 Southbound past Tonbridge about 12 miles to Flimwell. Turn off here onto the A268 to Rye and then the A259 to Hastings and Strand House Guest House is two miles outside Rye, just before you get to Winchelsea.
