Overview

The Victorians knew a thing or two about relaxing by the sea. Our lovely luxury hotel opened in 1854 and today, while we've made a few changes, the things that were a hit back then still delight our visitors 160 years on: excellent service, incredible sea views, and surroundings so comfortable you won't want to leave. There's nothing old-fashioned about that.

Tell us more about the rooms and facilities at St George's Hotel?

Our superbly appointed bedrooms and opulent suites have cool contemporary styling, with everything you need to make your stay go like a dream. Many rooms overlook the beach and promenade, so you can enjoy stunning sea views without even getting out of bed. If your idea of the perfect break is to do as little as possible you're in the right place. All you really have to do is make yourself at home.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

The food here is an enticing offering with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and you can choose casual or finer dining as the mood takes you. Start your day with a scrumptious Welsh breakfast and you're ready for anything. After exploring the neighbourhood, join us for lunch, a relaxed afternoon tea, or just a coffee. After dinner, a glass raised in good company provides the perfect feel-good end to the day.

Just returned from a two night stay at this fabulous hotel. From the minute we arrived we were met with such a warm welcome. The staff at this hotel are amazing. They care for all of their guests in such a unique and caring way. The hotel is on the best spot on the promenade with everything on your door step. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are just lovely with a good choice. To while away an hour try out the bar or coffee shop and watch the world go buy. I have wanted to stay here for some years. It was simply the best I cannot fault this hotel. Well done to everyone. I will be back.

Excellent week stay Amazing staff. Big shout out to hannah at reception who became our 4 year old daughter best friend. Thank you for keeping our little chatter box entertained. Big thank you to all the Staff at breakfast especially Dawn, Jenny, Nicola. Fantastic. Housekeeping was excellent as usual in our family room and everyone looked after my disabled mum if she needed anything in her room. We love this hotel and will definitely return back again soon. Food and Service Amazing.

The best of times in Llandudno here! St George’s Hotel offers the ultimate in quiet comfort, with everything and everyone properly looked after. Our room was elegant and large and quiet, and of course en-suite. The breakfasts are wonderful, and the evening meal we had was terrific too. The staff are trained to almost anticipate your needs!
