The coastal town of Portishead is on the Severn estury in Somerset. It was once a fishing port and then expanded into thriving docks which closed in the 1990's. The harbour area has now been redeveloped into a popular marina which can cater for over 200 yachts. There are several new waterside pubs, restaurants and the area is still subject to ongoing improvements.
