Located in the Outer Hebrides the Isle of North Uist is the 10th largest Scottish Island. It has many monuments dating back thousands of years and is also well known for its birdlife. The main settlement is Lochmaddy which has a ferry port with ferries to Sky and Harris. There are plenty of sandy beaches on the island which is also a great place for walking and cycling.
