Two of the superior king rooms are on the ground floor and are suitable for guests with limited mobility. The rooms are named after the local farms and landmarks that they overlook. Mansion House Llansteffan sits among the rolling hills that look out across Carmarthen Bay. With the Cambrian Mountains as the backdrop, and stunning views out across the bay, the setting couldn't be more perfect. It's little surprise that this region is known as the ‘Garden of Wales'.
Whilst Carmarthenshire has plenty to tempt the visitor, it's also just a 45 minute drive to the neighbouring counties of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion, as well as to Swansea. Places of interest include Carmarthen Castle, Aberglasney Gardens, the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, and Dylan Thomas' Boathouse at Laugharne.
Llansteffan itself is just a couple of miles away, and is a great place for long beach walks, or for exploring the ruins of the Norman castle there.

The emphasis is on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and both a ‘Market Menu' and an à la carte menu are offered, with all dishes designed by head chef, Paul Owen, and his team. Sunday Lunch is served in the Orangery, and is one of the highlights of any stay here.
