The Belsfield Hotel has been refurbished throughout by Laura Ashley designers. The designers drew their inspiration for the project from the beautiful Victorian Italianate building and its perfect location by the side of Lake Windermere.
The juxtaposition of modern and classical elements celebrates the signature Laura Ashley style. Laura Ashley interior designer Kay Cullen has used the archive chinoiserie range of wallpapers within the hotel to enhance the beautiful features within the building, whilst staying true to the buildings heritage. The Victorians would have championed this design in silk wall hangings or hand painted murals.
