We are moving into the area and this was our first time at Washingborough Hall Hotel. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and the hotel restaurant and bar were VERY busy. However, the warm welcome from the receptionist and the delightful public rooms made this an irrelevance. We were escorted to Room 11 and my heart sank. Down a set of stairs to what initially seemed a subterranean basement. How mistaken I was. The room was light and airy and with all the comforts one could ask for. Very comfortable bed, modern fittings, wonderful bathroom with one of the best showers ever. Bathrobes to boot. We had dinner in the restaurant and we were very happy. The food was served by professional friendly servers, and it was excellent. The 3 course menu was good value. I had the ribeye steak and it was one of the best I've tasted for a long time. My wife had the partridge and pronounced it delicious. After a comfortable nights sleep we took breakfast overlooking the lawn. We both had the full English and it was again delicious and of good quality. I doubt if we will have the opportunity to stay again (shame) as we will be living locally but we now know where to go for top notch food on family occasions!

Having stayed at Washingborough Hall on a couple of occasions now I would just like to thank you for generating a superb venue and a relaxing, efficient hotel. In a past incarnation I used to cook for a living, and consequently object to paying for food that I can cook better myself. To eat food that is cooked with care, and "shock horror!" Seasoned perfectly is a rare delight. I work too hard, and can't change that habit. Too old now! So, the opportunity to relax and enjoy good food, wine (thoughtful selection) and impeccable staff attitude deserves appreciation. A heartfelt thank you to you for setting the standards, and for the staff that follow your lead. I work all over the UK, and it's a pleasure to look forward to returning to Lincoln.

Had a one night stay here and wished we had booked two! The hotel, in lovely grounds was very comfortable and staff very welcoming. We had dinner in the elegant dining room. The food was simply delicious and beautifully served. Our tastefully decorated room (executive double) was spacious, with a huge bed and lovely en suite bathroom. Well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, usual toiletries, ironing board, hair dryer. The hotel is conveniently situated for a visit to the newly opened International Bomber Command Cetre, which is well worth a visit. Although the hotel is not in the centre of Lincoln it is probably less than a ten minute trip away. We look forward to returning!

It is a great place, there was a great ambience, we had a great sevice and would highly recommend staying at this hotel. We decided to stay at this hotel as a last minute overnight stay and had a great time, the staff were really lovely and helpful, the food was great and we truly had a great time. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a chilled out, romantic night away where all you want to do it kick off your shoes and chill for the night, or maybe two! Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of different hot food items which was a nice change to the standard full english.

My wife and I stayed for one night in Room 26 on the Monday dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The reception staff were very welcoming from the initial booking phone call right through to check out. Room 26 is spacious and very comfortable with a large and very well appointed en-suite bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and there is a wonderful view over the gardens. Dinner and breakfast were both outstanding with a varied and interesting menu and wine list. Service was efficient but unobtrusive. Overall - thoroughly recommended. Not cheap but excellent value for money.

We wanted a small but comfortable hotel in a quiet area with a good sized room. Washingborough Hall more than met our needs and the food was exceptional. All the staff were friendly and keen to know that we were enjoying our stay. We would be very happy to stay again if in that area on our travels.

Quiet location with easy access to Lincolnshire Staff and food are both excellent. Food prepared by people with an obvious passion makes staying here memorable. Staff that care are a pleasant surprise these days. No doubt I will go back when in the area

Washingborough Hall is a wonderfully friendly, welcoming and extremely well appointed Country House Hotel. My wife and I stayed recently and we would recommend anyone visiting Lincoln (or the surrounding area) to stay there.

A warm welcome on arrival, very hospitable - staff were discreet yet very attentive. Room hire and dinner was exceptional value for money. We will certainly be using Washingborough Hall again and again.
