At 10 Castle Street, we believe that a restaurant should offer a lot more than a place to eat. This is a belief shared by head chef Alex Fulluck.
The combination of Modern European and Dorset Country cooking has been perfected with all ingredients being sourced by Alex himself. He has been a chef for the past 15 years and is incredibly produce driven with it comes to sourcing food from local amenities. Everything served at 10 Castle Street can be traced from its source, some of which even comes from the kitchen’s vegetable garden.
If you would prefer to learn whilst you eat, and see the chefs make every dish, the tasting room can seat up to 16 people for a six - seven course tasting menu, which is produced on a request basis. Set under a glass roof, this private yet airy space allows you to see each course being created and then served to you with the perfect bottle of wine.
Adjacent to the main dining room, the Pillar Bar is the heart of 10 Castle Street and is open until 11pm on weekdays and until midnight at the weekend. Serving local and European craft beers, as well as delicious house cocktails made using a large selections of gins and vodkas, the bar is a great place to socialise.

Each of the nine individually designed bedrooms in the main house has an en-suite bathroom and a specific personality. If guests need a reason to visit, the unique feel and charm, along with fabulous views, provide the ideal location for a weekend away, a holiday in the heart of Dorset, a wedding or shooting party.
Dogs are also welcome at 10 Castle Street and a number of the rooms are pet friendly. So friendly in fact, that luxury dog beds and treats can be arranged prior to your stay.
10 Castle Street provides the perfect environment for a country retreat but also offers an endless array of activities such as cycling, fishing, horse riding, shooting and in house massages.
