Overview

A TASTE OF BRISTOL – WITH CITY, COAST AND COUNTRYSIDE ALL WITHIN EASY STRIKING DISTANCE Something for everyone. Rooms for an energising night's sleep, a spa for a group of giggling friends, a family sized pool and a friendly feel that will make any lone traveller feel quite at home.

What makes a stay at Aztec Hotel and Spa unique?

A stylish, purpose-built hotel in Almondsbury, Bristol, Aztec Hotel & Spa is ideally located for exploring Bristol and West Country, or for a stopover when traveling further afield. The Curious Kitchen is rightly proud of the food served, and it has its own Chef's Table, featuring the very best locally-sourced and freshly prepared foods. The menus are changed regularly, to take advantage of the freshest local produce, so there is always something new to try. The hotel is perfect for an afternoon tea get-together, a relaxing family meal or a traditional Sunday lunch.

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Aztec Hotel and Spa?

Signature rooms are comfy retreats after the day's adventures in the West Country and they are also available in family double sizes, so the whole family can stay over. The junior suites offer extra space for solo travellers and couples looking to up the comfort factor. Premier suites are simply the best rooms in the house.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Bristol area?

Bristol Harbourside has come a long way since its earliest days as a trading port back in 1051. The location is now home to attractions such as the M Shed local history museum, and Brunel's SS Great Britain, the world's first ocean liner. Guests can even see a little wildlife while they're there. At the aquarium, one can see sharks, rays and other marine life, but the centerpiece of the aquarium is the large Coral Seas display. To see even more wildlife, visit Bristol Zoo Gardens or take a family day out to Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park and get on the go-karts, quad bikes or the climbing wall.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

The Curious Kitchen is a AA Rosette restaurant with a big personality, featuring cosy booths, tables for two and room for larger, louder groups. There are murals on the wall, hand painted by a local artist. Breakfast is served sunny side up, and there's plenty of it. Alternatively, have a later start to your day with a tempting brunch offering. Guests can also enjoy a leisurely lunch, indulge in a classic afternoon tea and dine a delicious dinner. The Curious Kitchen offers a Chef's Table with a feast to choose from, including seafood, cooked meats, pies, cheese and salad. Private dining is available in a select room and meals can be served on the garden terrace when the weather permits.
