Overview

For over 100 years the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel has been offering some of the best hotel views in Wales. The Victorian reservoir immediately below this purpose-built hotel is a birdwatcher's delight, offering sightings of goshawks, peregrines, buzzards and red kites. Meanwhile high on the nearby moorlands hen harriers and merlins have been spotted. The hotel appeals equally to hardened hill walkers and weekend ramblers with an AA-Rosetted restaurant to come home to at the end of the day. Of the 52 individually decorated bedrooms, 34 have lake views and some have Jacuzzi baths. Décor in the public areas has wisely retained some charming period features. Please contact the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel to find out the best available rates.
