Overview

The Old Bell Hotel, built in 1220 is reputed to be the oldest purpose built hotel in England, still offering warmth, comfort and hospitality and retaining the ambience of a bygone age. There are thirty three individually furnished bedrooms some with antique furniture offering comfort and convenience. The elegance of the restaurant and bar perfectly compliment the award winning cuisine together with an extensive wine list. Dine outside on the terrace in the summer surrounded by the secluded and peaceful garden. Relax and unwind by a log fire in the library, lounge or bar, ideal for doing the crossword or simply having a snooze.
