Overview

A very quintessential English 17th Century Cotswold stone property, now a hotel, which has been caringly restored & refurbished by its owners. One of the most highly regarded small hotels in the area which has received the prestigious AA 5 Star Guest Accommodation Highly Commended award.

Burford House boasts 8 character and individual bedrooms designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. From sleigh beds to magnificent four posters, from the coach house to the family suite, you will not be disappointed by the luxury which is offered.

Burford with its medieval bridge, old stone houses and attractive Tudor and Georgian frontages, is justifiably one of the most picturesque towns in England. Often referred to as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’, the town was originally a fortified Anglo-Saxon ford which later grew to be an important regional crossroads and wealthy wool town. Burford is popular with visitors, both for its beauty and history but also for its specialist independent shops, wide variety of places to eat and beautiful surrounding countryside.
