Overview


Discover a Castle like no other Wander the halls of this beautiful Tudor castle thatonce guarded the coast of Kent. Frequent visitors to the fortress included William Pitt the Younger, the Duke of Wellington, WH Smith, Winston Churchill and the Queen Mother. Now an elegant stately home open to the public, it holds a wonderful collection of prints and portraits of the castle and its wardens. See the original wellington boot and explore the Queen Mother´s Garden and the Broadwalk with its yew tree hedge.
