Ballachulish is in the highlands of Scotland one mile from Glencoe on the shores of Loch Leven. it was a former area for the slate industry but today is a tourist centre. There are a number of hotels in the area. The wildlife which can be seen includes, otters dolphins, seals, red deer and pine martens as well as golden eagles.
