Historic Houses in or near Braunton

Braunton on the North Devon coast has a fine stretch of sand dunes said to be the largest in England. The beach is safe for bathing and the excellent for surfing. The village has a varied selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The Tarka trail which is a series of paths linking North Devon to Dartmoor passes through the village and provides good cycling.
