Explore a Royal Manor House untouched by History Built as a private house in 1631 and used by the royal family between 1729 and 1818, Kew Palace is an intimate regal home once enjoyed by George III, Queen Charlotte and their 15 children. Check out the Georgian royal kitchens left as they were 200 years ago – the life and times of the servants who worked there are beautifully chronicled. Don't miss Queen Charlotte's cottage, built in 1770 and later decorated as a cottage orné. A unique, different experience to the grander royal homes elsewhere in the capital.
