Overview

Explore the beautiful Farnborough Hall nestled in the Warwickshire Countryside In the low afternoon sun, the rays hit the honey-coloured stone of Farnborough Hall and create such a gorgeous hue that you understand at once why its creator William Holbech II opted for this pretty Horton stone for the build. Sitting in rural Warwickshire in palatial grounds, the hall is a celebration of 18th century craftsmanship, with its fine plasterwork showing wildlife and natural scenes. As you wander into the entrance you'll see the Italianate hall whose walls are decorated with busts of Roman emperors. Don't forget to look up to see the panelled ceiling with its rococo motifs. We love the drawing room which features elaborate stucco detail with scrolls, shells, flowers and fruit. The garland of fruit and flowers encircling the skylight above the staircase hall is exquisite too.
