Overview


Packwood House - 'A house to dream of, a garden to dream in' Packwood House is a 16th century house, with most of the interior designed in the 1920s by Graham Baron Ash. On display is a fine collection of 17th and 18th century furniture, French and Flemish tapestries and a mixed collection of paintings. The sumptuous bedrooms are all oak panelled with four-poster beds. Queen Mary visited in 1927 and there are reminders of her visit throughout the house. The gardens have renowned long terraced herbaceous borders and a famous 17th century collection of yews.
