Overview

Woldingham Golf Club sits in the charming Halliloo Valley, in the Surrey countryside. The course is built to USGA specification, and is known as one of the very best winter courses in the area. It's suitable for year-round play, for people of all abilities.

What style is the course at Woldingham Golf Club?

Working in harmony with the valley itself, the 18 hole, par 71 course stretches to over 6,000 yards. It was designed by Bradford Benz, the well-known course architect, and the chalk base beneath the course makes it ideal for all year play.

What is the feature hole?

For their sheer beauty, memorable holes include the 4th and 7th, in the bowl of the valley. However, the par 4 8th, lined by trees and peppered with bunkers, will likely remain a memorable hole for most.

What sort of course features can the player expect?

Whilst the layout of the course looks relatively flat at first glance, golfers will get a feel for the deceptive terrain as they drive through the course to the clubhouse. Narrow tree-lined fairways and hidden pot bunkers require accuracy and present a real test of accuracy to golfers of all abilities.

Other Information

Woldingham's picturesque course surrounds its clubhouse, which welcomes individual, corporate and society golf throughout the year. On-site parking is available.

Dear George and Team I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful Tapas you produced yesterday. As the dishes came along they just got better and better on the table, Patatas, Pisto, Pollo, Gambas; and then the Espinaca a la crema, which was so delicious my mouth is watering as I type! Together with that beautiful Paella which you included for free and I think was the most enjoyable of all. Thank you so much, from everyone, they all enjoyed a great meal. Best wishes Pat Bamforth

Dear Angie, Just a short note to say thank you to everyone at the Club for our Golf Day yesterday. We had a terrific day and everyone complimented me, particularly on the condition of the course and the food and drink. So, thank you to you, and please pass on our thanks to all the team, particularly Julie, Frankie and Laura who could not have been more helpful and of course to the greenkeepers who are just outstanding. Very best wishes

Dear Angie, We just wanted to thank you very much for helping us make yesterday's golf day so pleasurable and such a success. We received many complements about the whole day and especially about the course set up and the dinner. We managed to thank a few people yesterday but would you please thank and congratulate everyone involved on our behalf. And, you even arranged for the sun to make an appearance. Best wishes. Roger

I would like to thank you for hosting a fantastic golf day for us yesterday. From my initial enquiry through to the conclusion of the day yesterday your team has been both friendly, welcoming and efficient. In my speech at our dinner last night I thanked you on our behalf and without exception everybody spoke highly about my choice of course. So thank you all very much. Could I ask that you put us in the dairy for next year?

Set in the valleys of North Surrey, Woldingham Golf course is at times very tight on the fairways and always full of angles. We played for our first time but will be back now we know what the course slopes are. Not for the faint hearted,

We played at Woldingham today and once again we were immaculately looked after by Angie, Ben and all the staff. The course was in great condition which is a credit to the ground staff, We look forward to playing there again,
